BUVO invests in a future proof IT environment
Seven years ago, BUVO implemented a fully virtualized environment for its local server infrastructure. Due to continuous technological developments and increasing cybersecurity requirements, this environment is now due for replacement.
With the renewed infrastructure, we are not only fully up to date again, but more importantly prepared for the future. Cybersecurity demands continue to rise, and the new hardware enables us to take significant steps in this area.
The new server environment offers enough capacity and flexibility to support our growth and further automation within BUVO over the next five years — benefiting both BUVO and our customers.
Replacing the entire infrastructure — including security, backups, networking and server virtualization — is a substantial project. That’s why we are executing it together with our external IT partner to ensure a smooth and controlled process. We expect to bring the new environment into production in May 2026.
Together with our partner, we are creating a secure, stable and future‑proof foundation for our IT environment.
