Whistleblower Policy / Open Door Policy
The goal of BUVO is to create an environment in which dialogue between employees and supervisors / management is encouraged. BUVO believes that questions, concerns or problems between employees and the organization can be resolved through open and honest discussions in an atmosphere of mutual trust, respect and cooperation. Our Open Door Policy is designed to encourage discussions regarding terms of employment or treatment by management or other employees.
The policy is an informal dispute resolution process that is the foundation of positive employee relationships and is based on the assurance that it can be used without fear of retaliation. It is a violation of the policy of the organization for a supervisor and any other employee to prohibit or make it difficult for employees to use the Open Door Policy. Using the open door policy will not lead to negative work-related action against an employee.
