Visit Counsilor Helmond
On Thursday, April 17, we had a visit from councilor Martijn de Kort of the Municipality of Helmond.

Today I had the pleasure of taking a look behind the scenes at Buvo Castings in Helmond. Along with CEO Pieter Rijs, I discussed the powerful combination of technological innovation and sustainability in the manufacturing industry.
Buvo Castings is an international leader in the high-quality casting of aluminum components. Based in Helmond, they supply major brands in sectors such as automotive, e-mobility, and heating technology. Their products contribute to smart and energy-efficient applications – all based on an impressively sustainable foundation: 100% of the aluminum used is recycled.
During the tour, it was striking how craftsmanship, advanced technology, and pride converge here. Moreover, Buvo is working hard on the next step: a transition to sustainable energy supply within their production process. This will further increase their impact – both economically and ecologically.
For the Municipality of Helmond, these are the entrepreneurs who help shape our future. They combine growth with sustainability, create high-quality jobs, and put our region on the international map.
